SAT. Dec. 21, 1918
A little colder, but cleared up some and this day was not so bad after all. Collections this month has been abominable poorest that I have had this year. Work- letting up some and the epidemic is easing up- patients out at the hospital are all getting very nicely.

SUNDAY 22
Everything is shaping up fine although Mrs. Chapman is very sick she is gradually gaining ground after making my dressings, got away to attend church for a wander - spent this day very quietly at home- Miss Linset came up- this evening and we fixed up some Christmas “chow”

MONDAY 23
Having a very cold snap. Everything points to a grim Xmas unless the existing fogg brakes away in snow. Patients awake getting on fine and gradually leading into doing new work that I think will materialize after Xmas.
