Found Col. Garett getting on fine in spite of the operation and his outlook is really very favorable for the old fellow. - Mrs. Chapman is pulling along very steadily for a good recovery - things are a little quiet - the rifle range camp. - our soldier left for the camp.

TUESDAY 31
The look of 1918 in many respects an eventful year. best of all has the Lord granted us peace and next has he blessed us with health and prosperous as they I was able to lay Hamlet’s Ghost to rest. Patients are all on the mend - weather was very cold during the night. our proper freezing.
