MON. Dec. 9, 1918
Operated upon young Werth found a most peculiar condition of the bowel. Appendix- stood it well. - Made the regular calls and everyone but Mrs. Davis is pulling along fine. Had a slight snowfall during the night.

TUESDAY 10
The winter still is on for the snow is lying about on the north side of the mountain and no doubt intends to stick. Had a regular round of calls. Felt like a turk but made the calls just the same. My sick influenza patient is getting along fine. Held a delayed [?] party in the evening.

WEDNESDAY 11
Worked harder than trojan making the rounds things don't seem as well with poor Miss [?] and she is gradually losing out. - My surgical case is gradually picking up with his fits and it remains to be seen if the operation will give him the relief that I had hoped.
