THURS. Dec. 12, 1918
Felt all in from the broken night’s rest and the strain of yesterday, had to hustle just the same and even though we feel like it’s a losing game must play ball and smile while putting forth one’s best efforts.

FRIDAY 13
Weather very moderate and the snow was all gone this morning hustled about as usual but nothing great is accomplished. - our epidemic seems to have push the group into everything and especially the surgery.

SATURDAY 14
Had to make a couple of calls out in the country both being surgical cases landed [?] for Woods but don’t know whether I can do it well for myself. - was busy making calls and looking after the office work. Raining again tonight.
