WED. Dec. 18, 1918
The patient of yesterday is getting along real well in spite of the severe ordeal she passed through. - Circumcised while Dr. W. removed tonsils in young [S?]. - got on fine. - was busy in the p.m. with calls.

THURSDAY 19
Was called before cock crow to go to hill got a gurney and made the trip. Found a bad case of pneumonia instead of a sober case. - did all I could for the poor little woman but fear that I will not be able to make it go. - The outlook was not promising for conservely they are in destitute circumstances, - Patients at hospital are all getting on fine.

FRIDAY 20
Was a little late home had to hustle all day. Mrs. Chapman is pulling along fine and I hope she will make the [?]. The influenza is abating. Tapped poor Mrs. [S?] again today.
